Carel Lodewijk Buenting (Cees)

October 23, 1930 - † May, 28 2004

Very shortly after the funeral of the founder of IMAF The Netherlands and IMAF EUROPE H.Q., Jan Dick Schilder we face again with the dead of a former President of both organizations.

Indeed on May the 28th 2004 the Honorary President of I.M.A.F. - EUROPE and branch the Netherlands, Cees Beunting died after a long period of illness at the age of 73. He was :

- Knight in the order of Oranje Nassau -
- 8th Dan Judo -
- 6th Dan Nihon ju-Jitsu -

During many years he has been the National Coach of the Dutch Women Judo Team with whom he won a lot of medals.

He also formed several top Judokas who all have won many medals during Championships.

We will remember him as a quit, gentil and always ready to help, person.

We therefore present to his wife, Elly, who always stood on his side, and his family our sincerest condolences.
